I ran out of fuel yesterday. This morning i got an a delivery, but my boiler still wont start.
The light on the Beckett burner is flashing. I've hit the reset button but nothing happens.

Call your oil company and have them restart it. It happens to me all the time.

The oil pump needs priming. As the other reply states, call the oil company and they'll sort it out.

The delivery probably stirred up some crud on the bottom of your tank and fouled the filter. Your deliverer should return to replace the filter and clear the line to the burner. Happens all the time when you let it run down low.

what happened to us a few years back is there is a layer of crud on top of your oil in the tank, when you run out the crud goes to the bottom and fills the outlet to the burner. Oil company needs to come out and clean it. If you have a contract they should cover it. It'll take a few hour for them to do this.
