3 large chandeliers

3 large chandeliers

I am thinking of replacing 3 bronze chandeliers with etched glass shades on the parlor level of our brownstone. I was told that they're original to the house (1907). How can I find a renovator who is looking to buy a set of chandeliers?

do they work?

how much are you asking?

Yes, this is original. Did you notice the keys for gaslight? This fixture was set up for gas & electric back when electric was new. Back then people didn't fully trust electric and were not ready to give up their gaslight. You could post them on ebay. I'm sure they would be worth at least $500 each.

Yeah. What kind of a stupid question is this?

ebay, craigslist, antique place on Atlantic Avenue... this doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out.

8:33 - you are a moran. Are you capable of simply providing info w/o the nastiness. Your smallness just jumps off your post.

Do let us know what you want for them when you've done the research! That one is beautiful!

Rehab - funny - I meant "moron"...I majored in mathematics and simply skated in fundamental english courses.... :-)

Thank you all for your posts. I ended up also posting on Park Slope Parents (which our lovely "moran" didn't mention), and sold them within a few hours. They went for $900 for each, which we all felt was a fair price.

That's an ugly chandelier. Doubt it's original.
