What gives, Mr. B

I recently tried to post a comment on the South Slope HOTD. My comment was intercepted by a page indicating that it was going to be reviewed because the site reviews comments by first time commenters. I am not a first time commenter. I have commented many times under my moniker and, before that, many times as a guest.

Is this something new? Have you intensified your screening? Is this why the What has been so quiet lately and am I to suffer the same fate? My comments have always been pretty mild by comparison. Or did I just encounter a glitch?

My comment eventually made it, but I am curious about the mechanism. I have never seen that intercept page before. Just curious if there is something new going on.

Slopefarm--do not despair. This new system has been in place for over a week now. EVERYONE'S comments are being screened. This is not due to the poor What, but to a major loser who reveled in posting porn and suicide videos last week.

Thanks, 4:25. Just glad the guy in the space pod bathtub made it through Mr. B's porn screen. That was a hoot.

Glad to hear that posts are being screened. I really don't need to see porn or stupid ads filling up the Forum. Once bad behavior takes over constructive thought this whole site becomes an open sewer.

I am glad to hear that posts are being screened also. The threads had been sliding downhill for a while now and while you want honest commentary, you don't want abuse.

i wish we could just delete annoying comments. there are always stupid comments made in pratically every post in this forum... one little delete button... is that so hard...
