Need RELIABLE car service in Prospect Lefferts Garden

Hello,

Just wondered if anyone can suggest a reliable 24 hour car service for the Prospect Lefferts Garden area. I live on Rutland Road between Nostrand and Rogers. Need to get to JFK early next week (6am).

Thanks,

Brian Bell

Brian,

I am your neighbor on Rutland Road.
I've had very good service from Arecibo at (718)783-6465 or (718)783-3030.

Arecibo's not the best, I've had problems with them. The most reliable is Brownstone.

Evelyn are better than Arecibo

Thanks for the info.

Is it possible to get the phone numbers for Brownstone and Evelyn?

I've had good experiences with Arecibo but it seems you can't really set something up with them in advance so that might not be ideal. You may want to ask/check on the Brooklynian boards as car services are a hot topic there. Good luck!

"you can't really set something up with them in advance so that might not be ideal."

Really? That's insane.

Why not just call 212-777-7777 airport car service. They pick up in Brooklyn. Or Carmel at 212-666-6666. They both specialize in airport service.

it's worth mentioning that although I've not been able to set something up in advance with Arecibo, they have always arrived within 10 minutes of my call, even early in the morning.

Arecibo absolutely makes appointments in advance for early-morning airport runs.

We use them for every single ride to the airport we've ever had to do!

Arecibo - (718) 783-6465

They are quite familiar with PLG, too.

I agree with 1:21.

I always used local car services and for some reason I now do not remember I called 777-7777's and thought their service was fantastic. I now use them whenever I need to go to the airport or want to make a reservation for a pick-up. They are no more expensive than local car companies, accept credit cards and seem much more dependable.

Anyone know why "Strictly" car service is called that? What else do they think the other car services do? Asbestos removal on the side?
