Need big Parlor Floor pocket doors?

Need big Parlor Floor pocket doors?

A friend is doing a renovation and wants to get rid of her pocket doors as the settling of the house has left them more or less unusable for her. The doors are painted but in good condition from the looks of them. They are 9' tall and about 45 1/2" wide. If you are looking to restore something and can pick them up... (rent a truck at Lowe's) they are all yours. The Carroll Gardens brownstone dates from the late 1800's. Leave your contact info in the responses. Thanks

I would love to come and pick up the pocket doors if you are giving them away. My number is 917-544-6791. If you call me today I can come this afternoon to pick them up.

Thanks!

The people who have offered to pick them up are going to sell them in one form or other (either whole or cut down)...Hello!

You should charge for them! Don't just give them away for free to some salvage mongers. Someone who really needs them personally, would truly benefit. Try to find that person...

And if you can sell them but feel you would just rather have some off the premises, hang up to them until someone gives you at least a couple hundred dollars and give the dough to a soup kitchen or other charity in Brooklyn.

If the doors are truly in your way, put them in the cellar for a while and make sure they are up off the floor.

Heck, don't need doors this size (a little two wide for regular openings) and have perfectly good pocket doors with worked glass in them...but I would rather give you $200 for them and stick them in MY basement just to make sure the money will then go to a charity.

Hi. We could really use these doors for our parlor floor. We would be willing to buy them. Do you have any contact info?
Thanks! Jason.
