Front door shakes the house

When ever someone slams the front door the adjacent wall, which runs perpendicular to the door, shakes along with everything that is in contact with it. Is there anything that I can do to reinforce the frame of the front entry to prevent this from happening? Or perhaps decoupling the door frame from the wall would be a better idea. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yes, thanks for the door closer idea but was hoping to avoid the ugliness of a door closer. And was also wondering why this is happening. Are front door frames supposed to be anchored into something to prevent this from happening?

You could try installing a sweep on the bottom rail of the door or a gasket along the lock stile, to use friction to slow the door a bit when closing.

Decoupling the door would ruin its structural integrity to the wall.
