Does Mansion Tax Apply To Mixed-Use Bldg?
Does anyone know if the mansion tax applies to a 2-family plus store building?

it applies if the price >= $1,000,000
it does not apply if the price is <=$999,999

Only if the building is / will be owner occupied.

It applies to 1, 2 and 3 family residential property. It doesn't apply to 4 or over, but nys mortgage tax rate is higher on those.
