Customer-friendly granite fabricator?
I am looking for a company that would be willing to sell me and cut some relatively small pieces of granite; I plan to use it to cover an unattractive countertop (the real kitchen renovation is down the road a bit)

When we did our kitchen a few years back we used a granite guy that is located on 19th Street near Home Depot (off 3rd avenue?)
I can't remember the store name right now but the guy that runs the place is named Henry. They seem like the kind of place that would cut you a deal for a scrap.

I recently worked with Stone Impressions on 52nd Street (between 2nd & 3rd ave.) I bought marble but they had all kinds of stone. They were very nice and did great work.
