Cork Floors in Bathroom
I have heard mixed opinions about the suitability of cork tiles for bathroom flooring. Anyone have cork floors in their bathroom?

Never had experience with cork floors. But cork by nature, is porous. And my concern would be how clean can they be kept, especially in a bathroom.

You need to use solid cork tiles to do this, not an engineered product. You would seal the tiles after installing.

and I don't think cork is pourous or the wine industry is in serious trouble

I just did a post on cork mosaics and I was told these are good for the bath or kitchen if sealed. I love the way these look and they are recycled!

I have observed that water will eventually seep into seem and slightly lift edge.

A cork in a bottle is not impervious to liquids. The whole cork gets impregnated with wine, just (usually) not enough to dribble out!
That's why you can smell the cork (although it's not necessary.) It's got wine in it.
Sounds like as good an idea as wood floors in a bathroom, or a sheer glass shower enclosure. If you really like to fuss over things and have nothing better to do than constant upkeep, then by all means!
I, for one, am tiling every single surface of my bathroom with something very easy to clean. I hate cleaning bathrooms, but I *loves* to mess them up!
