Bathroom sink cracked

I dropped a glass jar and cracked the bathroom sink glazing. It's a V shape crack.

I'm wondering if I must replace the sink or if there's an interim measure to fix it, at least temporarily.

I did the same, and used some sort of porcelain stuff I bought to seal the crack, but it didn't stay in with use and sink-cleaning. I got used to it, as it was just visual - the sink didn't leak. Learned the hard way not to use a glass cup in the bathroom. Figured sink replacement would be cheap if I wanted to fix it (in my case anyway, it looked like a small, realatively cheap sink put in by the previous owners.)

If you want to keep the sink, you can have it reglazed the same color.
Look in the yellow pages or even on this website and start to get estimates.
It is not expensive.

This way you can save yourself installing a new sink with corressponding pipes.
