Where to buy 9' fixed ladder to roof?
The access to the roof is through a closet in the top floor of my 3 story brownstone. Every time we need to get access to the roof, I need to lug a folding ladder up there. I'd like to solve the problem permanently.
Where can I get a 9 foot fixed length ladder to install for roof access? (Preferably in Brooklyn/Queens)
Something like this:

I think most of them are just screwed-together pieces of black, 1-inch plumbing pipe, attached to the wall. That's what mine is. Cheap, easy and strong. Go to Loewes and make it yerself.

I have one that I can't use anymore (we put in a roof hatch that is taller -> need taller ladder). Call me at 917 669 5672 & make me an offer.

We had our ironworker make one similar for us -- they'll do it cheaply.

3:41 - can you give the name of your ironworker?

What is the name of the iron place in Bed Stuy? $200 doesn't sound so bad to me; seems about what I thought I'd pay. We also need some iron stripped and repainted in front. Thanks.
