Security windows?
Hi all,
I'm considering installing windows made from shatter-proof glass in our apartment as an alternative to security bars. Can anyone provide any information about how secure these windows are, how much they tend to cost (as a ballpark estimate), and where I might purchase them? Thanks in advance!

I don't know much about it, but this laminate looks promising:

You use normal windows and then place this stuff over it (it's invisible) for $12 per sf.
