Park Slope Paint Strippers?
Considering sending dome doors, shutters etc. to Park Slope Paint Strippers for stripping. Anyone ever use them? Any feedback? Any other reasonably priced providers that I should consider?

I used Park Slope Paint Strippers to refinish and restore the interior parlor entry doors of my house and dip strip the shutters of my garden level. The doors turned out beautifully. They were really beat up and only paint grade wood, but PSPS made them look gorgeous. I found both Dean and Jones to be very nice to work with -- friendly, professional and meticulous about their work. I will definitely use them again.

You know, I was looking forward to working with PSPS, but Dean got offended when I asked him if he had any clients that would serve as references and rudely hung up the phone on me. You'll have to take my word for it that I was nothing but cordial and professional in my dealings with him. Is it unusual to ask for references? I mean, the estimate was no small amount of money so I had wanted to get a sense for how the finished product might look. I'm disappointed.
