Need A Dumpster
Hi Brownstoners,
Could anyone please recommend a not so expensive dumpster rental. We just gutted a sizable amount of our garden level floor and need to take it out ASAP. Dump Removal Guys and Contractors are quoting prices way beyond our budget.

amanda carting will bring you mini containers (1/2 a yard) for $30-40 each, depending what you put in them.
for roll off container service, ive found crown to be the cheapest.
be warned. the private sanitation biz is about as bad as the towing business. i.e. lots of wanabe thugs

Make sure they have a DOT permit if they are going to park it on the street. My GC got slammed with tickets because he wasn't aware of this.

call 718 388 4255. forget the company name though. $800 for a 20 yard, $550 for a 10 yard. theyve neven been late for one of my jobs. and yes, juno is right - technically you need to take out a bond with the DOT.
