Help with adding a toilet to the basement
does anyone have experiance adding a toilet to the basement of a brownstone? I am doing the research and the tankless tiolets are like $1500. The regular ones needs digging to get to the stack underground and I heard something about building it on a box. Anyone done this before? How? Thanks in advance.

just buy a self contained pump kit approxiametely $ 500 you will have to dig a trench for the kit which looks like a small plastic trash can with a pump inside of it. you will also have to trench the waste line from the toilet to the pump location. home depot, lowes and the plumbling supply store all have these kits

There are several products like this one:

that may be good for you.

Thanks for the responses. I will do my homework on both suggestions. The upflush looks pretty cool!
