Floor refinishing recommendations
hi, i need my wood floor refinished and stained,
so far we have had a few companies come by and give us quotes.
whats most interesting is what some point out and what others completely ignore or don't see.
the quotes we have gotten have been from 1500.00 to 5k- which is beyond me why there is such a margin. the one thing i have realized through my reno is that the higher price doesnot mean better quality/service/skill etc.
can anyone recommend some honest craftsmen that take pride in their work?

I have recommended Glenn Sohm a few times on the Forums:
I have used Sohm Flooring twice with great results. Glenn is a one man operation and he is a bit of a perfectionist so it always took a day or two longer than expected but I have always been happy.

I recommend Carlos at 646-281-2659. He worked on my Brownstone hallways...good prices and respectable workers.
