Bitten: We used Absolute Death. Ask for Frank. 718.851.3403. They are great. Please be forewarned that this will be a horrific experience for you and will disrupt your life (the preparation and post-treatment period is unbelievable). But in order to get rid of them, you need to follow the procedures Frank will outline for you. He is incredibly helpful and thorough. I am happy to share our experience, which is fairly recent (second treatment 3 weeks ago)and offer helpful hints. If interested, you can post an email address and we can discuss offline. It is hard not to feel like a pariah, and many people don't want to admit they have them, so it is difficult to get good information. Good luck.

I had a great experience with Magic Exterminating. My LL took the ignorance route and I took the matter into my own hands and hired Magic and I had no regrets.

Follow all instructions given. I didn't the first time and I had them back within 2 weeks. I learned my lesson.

There is a lot of great information online. Take the time to look and stay calm you can beat this.

Get a few of their natural predator, the house centipede. They're not the most attractive bugs but they are awesome at keeping everything else (including roaches) out of your house.

Request Peter Scala @ Parkway Exterminators.
No, I'm not Peter. Just a very satisfied customer.

Oh thats what those insects in my house are - house centipedes! I've find them rather cute. It can't be a coincidence that I haven't seen a single cockroach since we moved in 6 months ago. Unlike my previous house....
