Credit Card not accepted?
what's the deal with EZTilt not accepting credit cards? It's bad enough I have to pay 3500 a window for my Brownstone, cuz the windows are completely rotted but they will only take cash orbank check? I'm supposed to come up with another 20k in cash for windows? I'm extremely bummed about this. I'm probably going to have to go with Bay Ridge or heights or put in not nice looking LWP windows instead due to this fact. I realize most people on this forum are trust fund kids who have that kinda money laying around but i'm just trying to scrape by and keep my kids from freezing to death.

Pretty sure most people here work for their money but good luck to you.

$3500 PER window? That's insane.

yes, if you don't put in $3500 windows, your kids will freeze. a $500 window would probably kill your kids dead on contact.

My credit card company is alway torturing me with those checks that you can use in situations like this. Read the fine print, but it's one possibility made for this circumstance. Best of luck, quality windows are not a stupid choice.

(scratches head)
so it is true what they say? the american consumer is now funding themselves on credit card debt? in what situation would it be sane to buy windows on 20% credit card finance charges? If you don't have the cash for outright purchase, then buy cheaper windows? If you can't afford to buy windows, then sell now and down-size before you end up missing mortgage payments as well?

Why are LWP windows ugly? I just bought some brown ones and they seem exactly the same as the more expensive ones... what did I miss??

OP, the notes regarding cash or bank check should have been removed, not sure when you recieved the proposal. As for accepting CC's maybe by the beginning of the year. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please give me a call if needed.
Others, depending on the manufacturer, wood species, style and size, prices can range from $1200 and up for wood windows.
