Condo Unit Square Footage as listed on Property Shark

I know Property Shark doesn't always get townhouse square footage correct (garden levels not always counted, etc.), but how accurate are they with measurements for condo/co-op units? Where do they get the info from? Can you trust their sq. footage?

I wouldn't trust it.

in order to get accurate sq ft. you should measure wall to wall (outside walls). closets are included when calculating sq ft (as are garden floors and basements and attics) so this is a fair and easier way to figure it out. most sites only measure rooms and then people figure out the math based on those numbers. you end up missing out on hallways, foyers, closets, etc and this makes up for a lot of the wrong #'s out there.
