Cockroaches
I love to read the NY times real estate section...those pre-war brownstones a block away from the promenade...aaah, the view...THE COCKROACHES!!!
My advice: BUYER BEWARE.. you will be mortaging your life away, only to share your new abode with a family of humongous cockroaches. FYI

I live on Montague Terrace and I haven't seen any cockroaches in years. Thanks for the warning, though. Are you on glue?

I think he means those little Yorkie terriers that are so popular now. I often mistake them for humongous cockroaches too.
Columbia Heights is lousy with those little yappy things.

Oh...you've just said the wrong thing to a yorkie owner. Yorkies are very affectionate & loving dogs. They are NOT humongous cockroaches. That's a digusting thing to say. Shame on you.

I've seen more rats on Columbia Heights (and the Promenade) than cockroaches.

I lived on Willow Street years back,in a lovely old two family house... never had cockroaches or critters of any kind and I had a garden apartment.
