You are not the boss around here. And of course this is fine. When Brooklyn Record, Mr Brownstoner encouraged people to move to this forum. There was a FSBO column there -- so I'm sure it's fine here.

I would call but a few more bits of info would be nice. Square footage, is it a walk-up, what intersection is it nearest? floor-thru or duplex? that kind of stuff..
