Chirstmas tree in Carroll Gardens

This is our first Christmas in Carroll Gardens. Where is the closet place to buy a Christmas tree, and when do they usually arrive? If they are now obvious, forgive me - haven't had the chance to walk to far down the street this week. Thanks!

If they are not already there, I know there is a Christmas tree selling stand near the F train stop on Smith Street.

You'll find a better selection and price at Home Depot but its a hike if you don't have a car.

The trees arrived a couple of days ago at the closed for the season Gowanus Yacht Club (corner of President and Smith). The plus is that they will carry the tree home and even set it up for you. The downside is they are more expensive than Home Depot.

Brownstoners, get a fake prelit tree, you must have storage and in the long run it is lest costly and greener

12;33 - If I had a brownstone I would get a fake tree and if I didn't have kids I wouldn't bother with a tree at all. I barely have enough storage for the ornaments.
And for all we know, the OP could live in an apartment.

You'll also be able to find trees outside the church at the corner of court and kane. Not sure if they're there yet, though.

The empty lot on court and 1st, or across the street from there (on court), always has trees, too.

Already saw them on Court Street for sale this afternoon, on the blocks near Carroll Park (but opposite side of street).

Mazzone Hardware on the corner of Court and 4th Place. They might also deliver.
