Best Condo Insurance in Brooklyn?
Hi,
I just moved to Clinton Hill after almost 15 years living in Park Slope. I'm looking for opinions on the best homeowner's insurance that serves CH. I have a 3-bedroom condo that I will start renovating next spring, so I'm looking for knowledgeable, professional, thorough agencies experienced in Brooklyn brownstone renovations.
What other criteria or conditions did you consider when choosing your own insurance?

I live in a co-op in Boerum Hill, but my insurance is a "Condo" policy from State Farm, who for the last couple of years has always had the best price for the coverage I need. I get it through the Meilee Fu Agency, 212-233-0606.
If you're not sure what you need and want to talk through options, however, these guys are not very helpful. But there's a broker named Frank Modica up on Court St., 718-855-1836. He is super nice and patient with explaining the various options, getting multiple quotes, and doesn't give a hard sell at all. In the end, State Farm quoted me a better price than he did, but I found my discussions with him very helpful in making the decision.

A +1 here for Frank Modica. I found him really easy to deal with and am happy with the policy he got me.
