Anyone renting in Bed Stuy?
Anyone rent a 2-3 bedroom in bed stuy recently? I would like to rent a 2-3 bedroom/ 1 bath (ideally a floor through ina brownstone). What's the going rate?

According to rentometer, my 3 br apartment is the 2nd most expensive in Bed Stuy and I'm sure that's not the case. I have a 3BR duplex near Hancock and Nostrand. My tenants are paying $2300 which includes a $100 discount for maintenance. So, $2400 w/o maintenance. It's a totally restored duplex with shared laundry, backyard and private roof access. I'm guessing a floor through would be less depending on the size and condition?

Oops, sorry...forgot to add that they just renewed their lease and we didn't raise the rent. This is the price we agreed upon last year.

We just rented out an apt in our brownstone (a flr thru) 2 bedroom, 1 bath for $1500. We live in bed sty near tiny cup

rh, Whats the $100 maintenance discount for? Does the tenant take out the trash?

2 bedrooom 1800. Small 1 bedroom 1250. both units super special and newly renovated near the subway a/c. You can get good rents in bed stuy but you need to care about the details. Do the upgrades. spend just a little more and people will fall in love with the apartment and spend a little more.

We have 3 family brownstone (2 flr tru apts, and 1 duplex, which we live in) , it took us about 2 weeks to find the right tenant, we were a little worried we thought it might be hard to find some one this time of year but we had a lot of interest.

Not Bed-Stuy, but a newly renovated 3 bed, garden duplex in Crown Heights (1600 sq feet) is renting for $2300.

I am in process of buying 25 ft by 55 ft building in Northern Crown Heights and plan on charging between $2000-$2400 for 3Br and 4BR with 2 full baths and dining room, kitchen has granite floors and countertops.
3 blocks from trains.
Like many would agree, good tenants are more important than a few hundred bucks a month!
