Winter Windows
Am I crazy to change all my windows out in January? They really need it and waiting until Spring seems like a long time. If you've had your windows done please chime in a let me know how long there were holes in your house! :)
Thanks

Ive had various windows replaced and while it takes several weeks for them to come in after they are ordered, it only takes a day to put them in. So as long as its not raining the day its done, it could be done anytime of year.

They can change the windows in a few hours.

We had 6 done by Bay Ridge windows all in one long day. Schedule it for a Monday so if there are problems, they have to come back Tuesday...and not wait the weekend

Personally, I wouldnt do it. Waste of fuel and heat in January.Takes a while, especially if you are doing an entire house. Those radiators will be working overtime.

We did all the windows in three-story brick row house and it took a day and half. Since we were at work, we didn't even feel it.

My neighbor once told me that she got a discount because she changed her windows in the winter.
