Window Replacement Recommendations

We are going to be replacing 15-18 windows and I am just beginning to think about whom to call for estimates.

I've read the archives and it looks like the companies to call are EZ Tilt and WindowsWeAre.

BayRidge and Park Slope Glass get pretty negative comments, so I think I'll avoid

Anyone else I should call/consider?

I did a similar amount of windows this past year. For the street (landmark) side I used Marvins from E-Z Tilt. First class installation. For the balance I used wood Trimline replacements from LWP on 3rd Avenue. I was also very satisfied with them, not as hefty a window as the Marvins but half the price.

Heights Historic Window & door did mine we were happy great install crew Kolbe windows www.kolbe-kolbe.com comparable to Marvin have a warranty on there exterior & the finish looks awesome versus painted sash which is always messy. that was my big turn off with Marvin they only sell primed exterior on wood landmarked windows.
Is it landmarked?

I use Lucky Window Products (LWP) you can google them. They did a great job on my first floor last year and I just did an order for the top three floors. We installed last year - they will this year. I have to say I am a bit miffed because it is a 10-12 week wait time right now but I really liked the windows and the price avg. $280 a window installed. I hope that is good! They are aluminum double hung double pane custom blah blah in "bronze" color which is a nice brown. Good luck! - amy

I used BayRidge and was more than satisfied. Everything was as they said it would be except they were able to fast track our order and we got them two weeks early.
