Window glass brooken, what to do

My 2nd floor kitchen window (top part that faces out) is cracked for over 1 year now. This is a regular probably vinyl replacement window.

Our local glassier told us we can take the window out and bring it for them to fix.

I'm not handy and being a 2nd floor window, I’m afraid I will break it or worst yet, it will fell down into the deck.

Can anyone recommend someone that will come to the house and perform the necessary work?

Or will this require a brand new window, I hope not : (

I can't believe that they would tell you to take out the broken window, bring it to them, and then give it back to you to put it in. That's nuts. These things cost 150 dollars for a new one - don't know the installation cost, but how much could it be?. Just get a real window person (Andre at Air Flow?) to fix the thing and don't risk injuring yourself trying to take it down.

Try All United Window Corp. on Classon Avenue and Park Avenue. Replacement glass should be between $60-80 per pane done onsite.

Don't try to take the window out yourself.

I called All United and they wanted to do the same thing -- have me bring the window into them. They wouldn't do house calls. Any other ideas?
