stripping - nasty or nice?

I need to get a range of wood (doors, shutters, casings...) dip stripped. Have searched archives and found old comments on Dip n Strip and East End Woodstripping, VICTOR ROJAS, Degamba etc. There are also some comments on apartment therapy for some alternatives not prev reviewed here:

Anyone have recent good/bad experiences to share? Thanks

I used Dip n Strip....easy to get to and not bad pricing.

I second Dip N Strip - the owner, Lou is nice, and gives a straightforward estimate as to time taken for the job. Not cheap. He did shutters for 10 windows for me, as well as a couple of mantels, and a door.

could those of you who have used dip n strip post some prices? How much are shutters per book for example? I'm paying East End $100 per 1/4 louvered book to dip in preparation for finishing (not painting). I have liked working with East End by the way. thanks
