retail zoning question

Can a space that's designated as a:
Miscellaneous warehouse (E9)
be used for a retail business?

Comments

Check out the underlying zoning (R,C,M). Whether retail would be permissible at the location would be contingent upon the zoning. The E designation (from the C of O, I presume) is for office occupancy.

It's in an R6 zone.
It's a warehouse building.
But there are other businesses in this zoned area across the street and around the corner. It's not a residential building.
