repointing brik
Hello,
Does any one know how much it costs to get professional repointing done and how it's priced up? Is by foot or by hour or per project?
Thank you.

It is based on the overall area to be pointed. We had our facade done this year, 20 ft wide, 2.5 stories high, for about $4000. They cleaned the brick, grinded the joints and repointed. I highly recommend our contractor, but I don't have the info handy. If you want the contractor's info, email me @ torin.l.cornell@jpmchase.com

As I also need my backyard wall repointed I have gotten several quotes from $4500 to $18000.I thought the higher quote was excessive even for a 4 family but maybe I am wrong.I am also still looking as the quotes have been extreme, either very low or very high, making me suspicious.

Yes, I need someone to do a wall and reset some of the brick too. Who's good out there?
Names and contact info?
Thanks!

we did ours for about 14K w/ malek. 4 story 18 ft wide fed brick. I liked malek they even looked the other way and accommodated my request to use a nice subtle gray mortar v. the nasty off white lpc wanted. I know - boo to me but it kept my house from looking like a gingerbread house.

was 14k with malek for both the front and the back (7K per wall), or just one wall? thanks
