Oven problems - repair referral?
Our gas oven has been heating up inconsistently. Burners all work fine, but the oven jets will fire weakly or not at all. Can anyone recommend an oven repair person? I'm reaching the end of my ability.
The gas and electric supplies are fine, and the igniter lights up just fine as well. The pipes don't seem to be clogged. Maybe a thermostat problem?
It's a cheap oven--would it be easiest to just replace?

I had my old gas stove repaired last winter, and it was kind of pricey... if it's a cheap oven, I would just replace it.

Stove Doctors, they were upfront about costs, on time and didn't gouge.

Expert Vacuum and Sewing on Court Street does gas oven repair too. On our oven a mouse had chewed up the wire connecting the relay to the electric starter. Zap! It made a good mouse trap anyway :)
They were a little flakey (lost the part we needed) but they had just moved the shop and were just getting back into the swing of things.
Good luck.
