Lawyer for apartment combination?
We are combining two condos in a new development. Already gotten DOB approval/knocked down wall/taken out kitchen. Now we need a lawyer who is familiar with the process to complete the legalities and complete the legal combination. Can anyone recommend a lawyer experienced with such combinations? Thanks in advance!

um. you did this in the Ass backwards way. You need approval BEFORE you knock the walls down. And you need to file this with the DoB first using an expediter and an architect.
If this is a new development, the Developer should be responsible for changing the Offering Plan with the Attorney General, not you. (I believe, but could be wrong).

Sorry, I didn't see that you already have DoB approval. ignore my ignorant previous post.

Ken Lowenstein at Bryan Cave. He should be able to do it, or to refer you to someone. Good luck.
