Larger Keyspan meter needed?

We're planning an oil to gas conversion in a five unit brownstone in CG.
We will dedicate one of the five existing meters to the gas furnace.

Our contractor (a local plumber) was just going to run a line off an existing meter but Keyspan is recommending that we switch the meter (a 200 cu ft meter) to a
425 cu ft meter.

It won't cost us anything to have Keyspan do the swap, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this scenario.

Thanks.

Our plumber recommended that we do this upgrade. He handled everything and it went fine.
