In need of Quality General Contractor Reference
Hello, Can someone provide me with a quality Contractor Reference. This is to do a very large Gut Renovation job - 9 Months.

I have previously recommended Ambiance Improvement (917-907-1100). I was very pleased with their work on my PS townhouse. The quality of the work was very high and they were very professional. The owner was on the job almost every day. They did not give me the lowest bid, but I chose them for the quality of the work and I felt the price was reasonable for the end result and the great working relationship. I think the anecdotes in the forum tend to prove that you do get what you pay for. Whoever you use, make sure to check references.

Try angieslist.com. They are giving free 1 year memberships to anyone who signs up in the tri-state area. I used it and was successful in finding good contractors.
