Fireplaces

Can anyone recommend a few companies that could restore my fireplaces and make them work?

Note I have already dealt with Fireside and the service was shockingly poor

Manny LaSalle is your man. He is a good guy, extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with fireplaces: restoration of fireplaces, making them functional, lining flues, rebuilding them, he even rebricked my chimney on the roof.

Call him. He's great. 917-292-1825.

Ditto Manny LaSalle. And Donatella, just so you know, this is the poster formerly known as Yente. Have we used ALL of the same contractors??

I think I may have gotten half of them from you Yente. The other half from my buddy Eddie Hibbert.

I'm working with Fireside right now and everything seems to be going well... so far. Your comment has me sort of stressed out about the idea that my fireplaces might have been restored incorrectly. Can you please let me know what your experience was with them? I'm hoping it was more of a personality conflict than a quality of work issue. Thanks.

I used Big Apple on my 3 fire places in my new house on Sherman Street and they did a fine job.
