Can exterior sconces be used indoors?

Can exterior sconces be used indoors?

I need 4 wall sconces for downstairs hallway. I want something that has knid of a nautical/maritime/industrial look but the only styles I can find that fit the bill are "exterior sconces".

1. What is the diffence between interior and exterior fixtures?
2. Can exterior lighting fixtures be used indoors?
2. Does anyone know where you can find similar "interior sconces"? Thanks!

The only difference between interior and ext. sconces is that an exterior one is weatherproofed. Of course it can be used inside.

Lighting source has lots of sconces of very many styles and (they claim) historically accurate.
