Asbestos Removal from Old Furnace
I recently received two estimates to replace my heating system and both contracors said I would need to remove the asbestos before they would go near the system. I hired a gentleman named John Rodriguez to do the work. John did an amazing, professional, efficient, thorough job at a very reasonable price. He was on time and has a very pleasant working demeanor. I highly recommend him to anyone else who needs to do the same work in their homes.

Did John remove and cart away the asbetos properly? How old was the furnace?

I also used John and he was great. I don't think it's fair to suspect all reco's as being self-serving. His price was fair and he did a terrific job cleaning up after.

Is he a licensed Asbestos Abatement contractor? Did he file with the city & state & did he have the air monitoring & De-con chambers set up during removal?

John Rodriguez removed asbestos and lead paint from my Cobble Hill home and I was thoroughly impressed with his work, His price was reasonable compared to the other recommendations on this forum. Come to think of it I wonder if those posters who are questioning his abilities are the very same ones I got the over inflated quotes from?

No one that I see is questioning his abilities merely his Licence to operate as an asbestos & lead abatement Contractor. If you have his Licence # that will stop all comments I believe.
