Does anyone know what the deal is with 480 State Street?

Brooklyn Heights Real Estate seems to still have all the apartments listed on their website as "Sale Pending". Pending getting a C of O for that overbuilt piece of crap, I suspect. Those willing to wait for this typical Van Brody monstrosity to scale the heights of legality will, however, have the pleasure next summer of being lulled to sleep by the howl of the massive a/c units on the roof of the bar next door to the Atlantic Avenue side of the thru-block development. For those lucky owners basking on their balconies in the reflected sunlight from the fully concreted back yard, the a/c units will give a whole new meaning to "Reach out and touch me".

Sounds like this development has not been received well in the neighborhood. What I don’t understand is that this place looks like it was completed quite a few months ago. What is illegal about the building...I guess this is what's holding up the C/O?
