Red Hook BJ's?
I heard a rumor that BJ's is going to occupy the commercial space of the former Sugar Factory - Joe Sitt's commercial/ residential project.. this seems completely implausible to me.. has anyone heard anything about this?

I don't know but that sounds exactly like the kind of out-of-place worthless store that Joe Sitt would bring to the Red Hook waterfront. Clearly, as he always does, he is attempting to target the projects. And it also sounds like exactly like the kind of out-of-place worthless store the lame New York City Planning Commission would allow on the waterfront. Why is the city allowing the Red Hook waterfront to be turned into a big box haven. Seriously, the New York City Planning Commission needs a kick in the ass.
