paint stripping by the hour?

hi, I'm interested in recommendations for someone to strip paint in my home by the hour. Project rates are OK too. I'm hoping to find a handyman or someone like that to help me out. House is in Bed-Stuy. Thanks in advance, recommendations are appreciated.

so I'm on the tail end of a gut renovation and one of my favorite hired hands has been the guy who's done my paint stripping. He stripped my entire staircase (banister, spindles etc), as well as a bunch of case mouldings, and he couldn't have done a better job (extremely meticulous, detail oriented, nice to have around and honest ... I once mistakenly overpaid him by an extra day, and the next week he told me what I had done and returned the money). he uses the peel away method, so there are no airborn contaminents at all. best of all, his rates are very reasonable.

so here's the catch: he's still working on my house, and I'll need him for about another month. if you can wait that long to have the work done, I'd be happy to share his information (and send you some photos of things he's stripped for me). he's a young father and a great guy, so I'd love to help him out. anyway, call me on my cell anytime if you'd like to discuss. 646.641.8438

thank you -- I will definitely be in touch with you. A month or so from now would work out perfectly.

do you know if he'll strip paint from metal? i have old in-the-wall ac/heat units that could use a serious face lift but I don't know where to start.

I know a great guy named Felix Barrios. He has stripped paint for several friends of mine and done an excellent job. I was going to use him for my own house, but did not only because the timing did not work out. I postponed the job a few months. His number is 718 683 4834. I did some price comparisons and Felix was definitely on the more reasonable end of the scale.
Cheers
