Looking for kitchen contractor/designer
I'm planning to put a new kitchen in on the parlor floor of a brownstone and wonder if anyone has recommendations for a good kitchen place in the area that will provide cabinets, etc. and a contractor, and has a good sense of design for old brownstones? The house has a lot of detail so we need some help on designing the kitchen tastefully around that. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would recommend Anais Rogers who is a project manager/designer and is really great at moving a project along, getting all the details taken care of, and helping you design something great for a good price. And she has great cheap sub-contractor contacts. She managed our renovation while we were gone this summer and did a great job. Her number is 646-460-0100.

I recommend Debra Salomon, she is the principal of the Brooklyn based 408 Group, which provides architectural planning, interior design and construction management for brownstones and small houses. She works primarily in the Brownstone neighborhoods of Brooklyn.

Debra, get off here. You're a troll. Only owners talk like that.

I actually copied and pasted it from her site - see her about us page. I was just being lazy! Way to insult someone you don't know, how old are you? And for your information I'm a male so please refrain from calling me Debra! Actually, I know a rugby player named Deb so its ok I guess!
