Looking for a carpenter
The outside of our wooden house needs some repairs due to weather and bug damage. Possibly looking for someone to make large front porch windows into french doors. Any recommendations for reliable and affordable carpenters?

To solve your bug problem you're going to make a window into a door? What? I think you need to solve the source of the problem before you make aesthetic changes. You're just going to have to do this again in a few years.
