Kenny's Ironworks
Has anyone used him? If so, would you recommend him?

I have used Kenny several times and was always happy with the quality of his work. He is a character, and can take some time in completing his work, but it is top notch. He did new stoop iron work, landmark approved, and a fence with gate at a coop I lived in, as well as cellar hatches at my current home (with vents, waterproof etc) and an iron deck off the parlor floor to the back garden. Great stuff. I'd highly recommend him and have done so in the past. He can show you houses he's worked on to give you a feel for his workmanship.

My experience with Kenny was terrible. Character, yes. But also really shoddy work.
The iron was much lighter than I'd asked for, the gate swings the wrong way, and the finish was only spraypainted.
I tried to object to the installation crew (Kenny didn't come out to install) but they said "call Kenny" and kept on working. Never did hear from Kenny again.
I think he took the job, and just subbed it out to some cheapo guys.
