Journalist In Need of Help
I am a journalist working on a very tight deadline on a story about buyers and sellers feeling ambivalent about entering the market right now. If you fit the following description, and are willing to be photographed sometime today, Wednesday, for the publication, please respond.
You should be a motivated seller, with a property on the market for some time but wanting for offers.
Comments
lol - how about buyers who are wanting to enter the markets but think sellers have rocks in their heads and are not taking into account the prevailign slump elsewhere.
Cheers,
Dean

What is the newspaper/magazine name as I like to read about it when it comes out.

people are still buying, Dean. There is not really a slump in NYC.

If buyers think there is a slump, there is a slump.

Isn't this story sort of self selecting. Seems like it would be more infomrative to interview a range of people who are actually in the market and see how they're feeling (i.e. ambivalnet or confident).

Hi.
This is horrible journalism.
So, basically you're stating that you're seeking out people who have a specific opinion which will make a point you obviously feel is correct or will illustrate a condition you think is the case instead of interviewing people to find out if this actually IS the case. Right?
Of course there are people out there who are ambivalent about entering the market. There ALWAYS are people who are ambivalent.
It's like writing a story on how well the stock market is doing and interviewing CEOs, stockholders and brokers. Of course they will tell you the market is doing phenomenally.
Please let me know what publication you write for, so I know never to take it seriously.
And go back to journalism 101.
