Flooring recommendation
I need to have wide-plank pine floors sanded, stained and polyied. Verazanno was expensive and their reviews are mixed. Has anyone used Hollywood floors? Any other recommendations?

Try Carlos, he did my whole brownstone- hallways, parkay floors, etc. Nice guy from Peru, has a respectful crew and keeps to timeline. Prices were fair. Verrazano crew and office workers are rude and nasty! I worked with them once, never again.

Call Dauti from D&S Flooring. You won't be sorry. At first he was hard to get to come over for estimate but be persistent. When he did, his prices were less than half of Verazano's and another estimate that I received. They started on the requested day, used the products that I requested, and finished quickly. The final results were excellent! His number is(732) 522-0016.
P.S. I am not Dauti, but just a very happy customer of his.

I have used Sohm Flooring twice and recommended him here before. I had trouble getting any of the small contractors in Brooklyn to come and give me an estimate and found Sohm on Staten Island. Glenn does great work and uses all waterborne products. Both projects went a day or two over in time.
