Brownstone Construction

Does anyone know of a good site or book that describes the general construction of Brownstones. I'm looking for something with drawings and details. Thanks.

Charles Lockwood's Bricks and Brownstone: the NYC Rowhouse 1783-1929. No one who lives in an NYC brownstone, limestone, brick or frame rowhouse should be without a copy. It has floor plans and period photos and drawings of all of the major features as they evolved throughout the years.

You might also want to look at The American Townhouse, by Kevin Murphy. It covers many styles other than attached row houses, but is interesting, and has great photographs.

I second his first comment, don't know the second book, but will check it out.
