Border between Greenpoint and Williamsburg?

What is the generally-accepted boundary line separating Greenpoint and Williamsburg?

N 11th over to Richardson?

Or

N 15th to N 12th to Bayard (around McCarren Park) to Richardson

Or

Something else?

My understanding is that Grand Street is the southern border of Greenpoint, and where the real Williamsburg begins and goes down to Bed Stuy at Flushing. I have no idea about the eastern borders though.

Since Greenpoint is 11222 and Williamsburg is 11211, I would think that would be the division. Not sure what zip the streets you have listed lie on.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we might find a reasonable 2 bedroom apartment in Greenpoint? We went through a realtor, jumped through all the hoops and then were told it was already taken. We love the area but don't have much money as we are recent college grads. We are great tenants, responsible, mature, etc. If you know of anything available or can give us a lead as to the best source of such information we would be forever in your debt. thanks
