Anyone seen this house?
Just wondering if anyone had seen this house in Park Slope? It's been on the market for a while. I've tried to get an appointment to see it, but the person the realty referred me to does not answer his phone or return messages. Seems strange...anyone have the scoop on it?

The "large 2 story extension" would make me wary. It would mean no backyard. Plus if an extension was badly done it can let in water and get mildewy. When we were looking at houses we kept seeing extensions that were cheaply badly done and were smelly and dirty and crappy. Not saying this one is like that, just saying if this house isn't selling that could be the reason.

I think I've seen it... it came to the market maybe in the spring, then they took it off, came back at some point in the summer, took it off... I don't know if it's truly back. If it's the one I saw, it's on a very pretty street but needs so much work that I concluded it was really overpriced (by more than half million) so I passed. Leave a message with the broker, and he will probably call you back when (if) it comes back to the market (that's what I did), but look more - this certainly is no bargain.
