SPALLING Brownstone Facade
I posted this a few days ago with a spelling error, so I'm reposting with the correct spelling:
Does anyone know what the solution is for spalling on a brownstone (long vertical cracks running parallel to the face of the stone)?
I've seen the Brownstone Authority mentioned several times... does anyone know of any other good facade contractors who are experienced in fixing this sort of thing (and any sort of ballpark what this sort of work costs)???
My house has some of these and I'm concerned it will get worse this winter.
I don't think chunks of facade are going to fall off just yet, but I'd like to nip this in the bud before they do.

yes, I've seen all the posting he did himself.

Try Big Apple Chimney (they're general masons, too). I'm waiting for a quote on my own facade work from them. The did my interior chimney and brick work, and while they're pricey, the work is beautiful.
