pre purchase assessment
hi we are thinking about purchasing a brownstone to renovate into an office and three apartments. we wanted to bring over a builder or architect to get a sense of the size of the project and feasibility before we finalize our bid. any recs? we will likely need to add an elevator and do some work to make separate apts. thanks for any advice - j

Hi
We are doing an almost gut-reno on a brownstone ,four floors and basement and adding an elevator, where none existed, this in itself was a critical decision, sizing and location.
Right now we are in the middle of the project.
If it helps we can give you a walk-through introduce you to our architect, maybe take a look at your brownstone and give you some figures with regard to your prospective renovation.
